About Evolution
Evolution Items trigger or enable evolution in specific Pokemon species. From classic elemental stones to trade-held items and conditional evolution triggers, these items are essential for completing your Pokedex and obtaining powerful evolved forms.
Evolution Stones
Fire Stone, Water Stone, Thunder Stone, Leaf Stone, Moon Stone, Sun Stone, Shiny Stone, Dusk Stone, Dawn Stone, and Ice Stone each evolve specific Pokemon when used directly. Some Pokemon like Eevee have multiple stone evolution paths, offering strategic choice.
Trade Evolution Items
Items like Metal Coat (Scizor/Steelix), Dragon Scale (Kingdra), King's Rock (Slowking/Politoed), Protector (Rhyperior), and Electirizer (Electivire) must be held during trade to trigger evolution. These items are consumed in the process.
